"The Little Dripper" Michael Graves and Swid Powell

“Everything I design is the direct result of what I wish for my own home. I designed ‘The Little Dripper’ because I have a particular appreciation for filter coffee and was dissatisfied with the appearance of the models available on the market.” This is how Michael Graves is quoted.

The set was only in production for four years. From 1988 - 1992. I am offering the complete “The Little Dripper” set by Swid Powell here. Consisting of: the coffee pot with lid, filter, creamer, sugar bowl with lid, and the original sugar spoon (very rare, also made of porcelain).

All pieces appear unused to me, like new, no cracks, no chips, and no signs of wear.

Swid Powell was founded in 1982 by Nan Swid and Addie Powell and produced innovative housewares designed by leading architects such as Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid, Richard Meier, Michael Graves, and Robert Venturi. The company bridged the gap between architecture and everyday design, creating iconic objects of postmodern design.
