OLIVETTI Synthesis, A4 Paper Trays, Sistema 45, Ettore Sottsass
In 1973, Olivetti launched the "Sistema 45" office furniture system designed by Ettore Sottsass – Italy's first complete office furnishing system.
The development, which began in the late 1960s, included not only typewriters but also the Olivetti Programma 602 minicomputer and a wide selection of office furniture: desks, chairs, cabinets, shelves, filing cabinets, mobile partitions, and accessories such as telephone trays, umbrella stands, and of course, the A4 paper trays offered here.
