One of the early designs by Marianne Brandt (1893 -1983). Designed in 1924 at the Bauhaus in Weimar. A hemisphere standing on three triangular feet is covered by a lid. The lid has an eccentric opening for the ash. From 1995, ALESSI produced this ashtray under license from the Bauhaus-Archiv.
The official Bauhaus signet is laser-engraved, the ashtray is in its original packaging, NOS, OVP, only unpacked for the photo!
