The development and design history of Aldo Rossi's iconic designs for ALESSI is illustrated with numerous drawings, photographs and high-quality prints.

The book consists almost entirely of images. It has a black cover with a color plate affixed in the center, over 40 additional illustrations, color and black-and-white plates (some double-page spreads) featuring projects drawn by Aldo Rossi. Four color plates are hand-mounted within the text. An introductory text in Italian and English by Aldo Rossi. Graphic design by Raffaele Castiglioni. Printed on ivory watercolor paper by Cartiera Fedrigoni in a special edition of 999 numbered copies. The volume was originally published to coincide with the exhibition "La conica," which took place from September 8 to 11, 1984, in the Loggia of the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan. This edition was published by ALESSI Crusinallo, 1984/1988, third expanded edition.

Published 1984/1988. Limited edition, number 492 of 999. Very good condition. Over 35 years old. Clean. Apparently, it has only ever been stored on a bookshelf.
