One of the early designs by Marianne Brandt (1893 -1983). A hemisphere resting on three triangular feet is covered by a lid. The lid has an eccentric cutout for the ash. Designed in 1924 at the Bauhaus in Weimar. From 1995, ALESSI produced the ashtray under license from the Bauhaus Archive Berlin.
