One of the earlier designs by Marianne Brandt (1893–1983). Designed in 1924 at the Bauhaus in Weimar. A brass hemisphere standing on three triangular feet is covered by a lid. The lid has an eccentric cutout for the ashes. ALESSI has been producing this ashtray under license from the Bauhaus Archive since 1995.
The official Bauhaus logo is laser-engraved, the ashtray is definitely used, odor-free! And in very, very good condition...
