ROCCHETTO by Ettore Sottsass TENDENTSE
small vase, NUOVA CERAMICA NUOVE TENDENSE
TENDENTSE was a project by Ettore Sottsass, Adolfo Natalini, Andrea Branzi, Aldo Cibic, Michele de Lucchi, and Alessandro Mendini from 1985. The aim was to develop handmade objects with "emotional content" and not just pure function. Ceramic was chosen as the material. Later, in 1989, TENDENTSE was taken over as a label by ALESSI. The vase offered here comes from the early, rare TENDENTSE production!
ROCCHETTO dates back to a sketch from 1959. For Sottsass, it was an archaic form that can be found in many of his designs.
No damage, no chips, no signs of wear, an original from TENDENTSE (not an Alessi Edition)
Design Ettore Sottsass
Edition TENDENTSE 1985
produced by Alessio Sarri, not ALESSI
Dimensions approx. 15 cm, Ø 5.8 cm high
Ceramic (blue, black, yellow)
Used design object, an original, differential taxation according to § 25a UstG (German Value Added Tax Act).
