Pierangelo Caramia pepper & salt set for ALESSI

The set is called "RIO" in the ALESSI catalogs. The French designer Pierangelo Caramia uses the oval shape in some of his designs.

unfortunately without original box
the shakers were never used, never filled, the wooden base (I assume beech) has a small pressure mark.
