Christopher Dresser Officina Alessi Tray

90028 Round tray, Round Tray, Tray

The tray offered has been used, is scratched, in the mirror, and has a "small" dent, also in the mirror. If you enlarge image 4, you can see almost everything except the dent... difficult to photograph.

The tray is very rare and beautiful. Of course, you have to be able to live with the scratches, but they do not impair its form or function.

Christopher Dresser (1834-1904) was a British designer and botanist. He is considered to be Britain's first professional independent industrial designer. Unlike his contemporaries in the Arts & Crafts Movement, he wholeheartedly embraced all the difficulties of industrial production without detracting from the bold and visionary craftsmanship of his designs. Starting in 1991, ALESSI reissued some of his most famous designs at Officina Alessi.
