Christopher Dresser Officina Alessi Vinegar & Oil

90036 Oil and vinegar set

Christopher Dresser (1834–1904) was a British designer and botanist. He is considered to be Britain's first professional independent industrial designer. Unlike his contemporaries in the Arts & Crafts Movement, he wholeheartedly embraced all the difficulties of industrial production without detracting from the bold and visionary craftsmanship of his designs.

Starting in 1991, ALESSI reissued some of its most famous designs at Officina Alessi and added missing components together with Brian Asquith.
