Christopher Dresser "Christy" sugar bowl

CD01 Zuccheriera, sugar bowl, sugar dish

Christopher Dresser (1834–1904) was a British designer and botanist. He is considered to be Britain's first professional independent industrial designer. Unlike his contemporaries in the Arts & Crafts Movement, he wholeheartedly embraced all the difficulties of industrial production without detracting from the bold and visionary craftsmanship of his designs.

In 1991, ALESSI produced some of its most famous designs in silver and stainless steel at OFFICINA ALESSI.

Then in 1993, as part of the "Family Follows Fiction" project, in very bright and cheerful colors made of RESIN. I am absolutely certain that Christopher Dresser would have liked it!
