Carl Auböck for Amboss Austria
I couldn't pass this up. A meat knife by Carl Auböck with the original AMBOSS logo, meaning it's from before 1970! The handle is braided and in wonderful condition, apparently never exposed to moisture and never sharpened. Good!
Carl Auböck's cutlery designs won a gold medal for Amboss at the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels. With its avant-garde cutlery, Ambosswerke was one of the most interesting cutlery manufacturers worldwide between 1950 and 1970.
