La Cintura Di Orione, a project by Richard Sapper and Officina Alessi, 1984-86, the aim was a series of professional cooking pots, developed together with well-known professional and star chefs (because they know what they are doing).
Gualtiero Marchesi from Milan helped out here.
The pot is made of copper (approx. 2.2 mm thick) which is coated on the inside with a layer of high-quality stainless steel. Beautiful cast iron handles.
