Pot or casserole dish Ø 20 cm, La Cintura Di Orione, Richard Sapper
90101/20 Casseruola a due maniglie, Henkelkasserolle, Pot
Officina ALESSI
La Cintura Di Orione, a project by Richard Sapper and Officina Alessi, 1984-86. The aim was to create a series of professional cooking pots, developed in collaboration with well-known professional and Michelin-starred chefs (because they know what they are doing). Gualtiero Marchesi from Milan helped with this project.
This casserole, developed by Richard Sapper, represents a significant innovation in modern cookware. Its key feature, apart from the Richard Sapper design, is the specially developed composite material, a rolled product made of thick copper bonded (with aluminum) to an inner surface of stainless steel.
This combination of materials combines the excellent thermal conductivity of copper with the hygienic and easy-care surface of stainless steel. The casserole dish thus guarantees maximum functionality, durability, and precision when cooking—ideal for discerning culinary professionals and design enthusiasts alike.
Beautiful cast iron handles.
