James Irvine (* 1958 in London, † 18.02.2013) studied at the Royal College of Art, London and went to Milan in 1984 to work with Ettore Sottsass in the design department of Olivetti. An Englishman in Milan. In 1988, after a year in Japan, Irvine founded his own design studio in Milan and was also a partner at Sottsass Associati from 1993 to 1997. He died far too young in 2013 at the age of 55.

These pepper and salt mills are from TWERGI's first collection. With very few signs of use. The pepper mill is equipped with a PEUGEOT grinder. The matching original box is unfortunately not present.

I have freed these mills from showcases. They are not new but in mint condition. There are very few traces of time ... produced around 1989, more than 30 years have passed.
