Andrea Branzi (1938 - 2023) studied architecture in his hometown of Florence. In 1966, he founded Archizoom Associati with Paolo Deganello, Gilberto Corretti, and Massimo Morozzi. The group is considered the founder of anti-design. In 1975, Branzi co-founded and became a member of Studio Alchimia together with Ettore Sottsass and Alessandro Mendini.
