Enzo Mari was not only an important designer (He was awarded the Compasso d'Oro five times ), but also a fierce critic of the design industry. He advocated sustainability, social responsibility and cultural depth in design. His work can be seen in leading museums such as the MoMA (New York), the Triennale Design Museum (Milan) and the Center Pompidou (Paris).
