Carl Auböck for Amboss Austria

I couldn't leave that behind. A carving knife by Carl Auböck with the original AMBOSS logo, meaning pre-1970! Handle braided in wonderful condition, apparently never gotten wet and never sharpened. Good!

Carl Auböck's cutlery designs won a gold medal for Amboss at the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels. The Ambosswerke, with their avant-garde cutlery, were one of the most interesting cutlery manufacturers worldwide from 1950 to 1970.
