One of the earlier designs by Marianne Brandt (1893 -1983). Designed in 1924 at the Bauhaus in Weimar. A hemisphere, standing on three triangular feet, is covered by a lid. The lid has an eccentric cutout for the ash. From 1995, ALESSI produced this ashtray under license from the Bauhaus Archive.
the official Bauhaus signet is laser-engraved, the ashtray appears used, there are very few signs of wear and it is odor-free, without the original packaging
ready for another 30 years!
