Christopher Dresser (1834-1904) was a British designer and botanist. He is considered the first professional independent industrial designer in Great Britain. In contrast to his contemporaries of the Arts & Crafts Movement, he unreservedly accepted all the difficulties of industrial production, without however detracting from the bold and visionary craftsmanship of his designs.
From 1991, ALESSI re-edited some of his most famous designs at Officina Alessi.
The toast rack offered appears unused. Unfortunately, the original packaging is missing and the item is subject to differential taxation according to § 25a UstG.
